There's a Reason Why I'm an Optimist

If you are someone who many people look up to, look upon life in a way that you would want someone else to.

There is no denying we live in a world that can be as cruel as the demons that reside beneath it, but there is nothing worse than letting that negativity engulf you. There is nothing worse than letting it eat away at everything you are. There is nothing worse than letting it consume you, and dragging everyone you love down with you.

I cannot say that I'm not a cynic sometimes, because that would be a lie. I can clarify, however, that I don't enjoy being cynical or pessimistic, because it's not the way anyone should think.

Sure, there are a lot of things we go through in our lives that leave us feeling defeated, hopeless. Unfortunately, there probably always will be.

But there is so much more for us to be thankful for, for us to revel in and share with others.

There are things in this world that are bad, and there are things in this world that are good.

What it all depends on is what we decide to dwell on, and it doesn't do any good to take what little we know about the bad and compare it to the overflow of good things in our lives.

We know good people. We know good things. We know good. We have good. We can be good, with our words, with our actions, with our dreams and our outlooks.

And there is nothing more powerful than an optimistic outlook.

Kindness goes a long way, and optimism brings us to the brink of boundaries we did not realize were possible.

Live your life. Spread the love. Be thankful. Be grateful. Enjoy life to its fullest and share that joy with those you love.
